Course preferences are used to specify what course a teacher can teach. The scale is from 0 to 9.
• 0 indicates that a teacher is not qualified to teach a course.
• 9 indicates that they are qualified and would prefer to teach that course.
• 5 would indicate that a teacher is qualified to teach a course, however, there is probably another teacher who is a more likely candidate.
The Scheduler will always assign the teacher with the highest preference to the class if they have not exceeded their course load.
You can also set the individual teacher’s course load and identify teacher preferences for up to 8 rooms.
